THE FLORIDA AUTHORS & PUBLISHERS ASSOCIATION’S ANNUAL CONFERENCE
WELCOMES ROBERT N. MACOMBER
Friday August 2, 2019 [4pm-5:30pm]
The Value of Research Workshop with co-presenter Kathryn Hall-Knight
My Topic: “Researching Around the World”
In addition to researching the facts of your writing project, location research can provide the crucial
flavor of the locale for your project. There is no substitute for going there and immersing yourself in the sights, smells, tastes, sounds and textures of the culture and place.
This will be a fascinating look at how location research can
make a story more vivid and memorable for both the writer and the reader!
Saturday, August 3, 2019
11:30am-12:30pm Pre-Lunch Presentation
My Topic: “Enjoy the Ride: Making Connections, Spreading the Word & Keeping Fans Engaged”
We are the writers. Hollywood makes movies about people like us. Secretly, many people want to be us. So enjoy this remarkable ride, for it will take you to experiences and friendships and places you’d never have otherwise. I’ll share some practical tips on how to stay organized, productive, and innovative while expanding connections with your colleagues, your readers, and prospective fans.
