Topic: “The Patriot & The Widow”
Please join me for this fascinating, non-fiction tale of a young mixed-marriage
couple who became pro-Union refugees on Southwest Florida’s
Useppa Island during the American Civil War.
It’s a story of love, war, the bitter-sweet Christmas of 1863,
and a woman’s incredible resiliency against daunting odds,
with a poignant legacy which has lasted until this very day.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
This will be a festive gathering to celebrate my 16th novel in his Honor Series
titled: Code Of Honor A Peter Wake Novel.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I’ll speak about the story behind my latest thriller!
Code Of Honor is the story of how Asia and the world
were forever changed by the Russo-Japanese War,
how the U.S. Navy’s view of Japan changed from amused respect
to growing worry, and how the foundation
for today’s tensions in Asia were laid in 1904.
Come out, have some fun with us at this great community bookstore,
and I’ll be delighted to sign & personalize your purchased copies.
