I’ll be participating on a panel with Dewey Lambdin, 
called “Tales from the Sea: Naval Adventure Series” 
in the Special Collections Room of the Nashville Public Library

Then following the panel, I’ll go to the Parnassus Books tent 
to sign books at the festival from 5:30pm-6pm ~ see you there!

My topic: “YACHTS THAT WENT TO WAR” 
This presentation will explore the story of elegant yachts, focusing on four poignant tales about vessels which were turned into warships during the Spanish-American War. Amazingly, some of these incredible ships served our country for decades!
